Welcome to my first post!
I’ve never had a website or blog before, so forgive me if this place is a little clunky for a while.
So who am I? I’m Kate Nielsen. At my day job, I’m a product development chemist. I’m also a writer, which is why we’re here. Or you got lost. That’s OK too. I live in Kentucky with my husband and two cats. Alice is a majestic ball of anxiety and Persephone is chaos in cat form. I love to cook, read, travel, and binge watch TV and movies.
As for my writing, so far I’ve only published one short story. I’ve also recently started querying my novel. Hopefully one day I’ll be posting my How I Got My Agent story. In the meantime, go check out my short story “Sunflowers” in Allegory.
